One of the staff named, Clemens, gives you this heartfelt tour of the store. She opens her heart to tell you the personal biography of the owner, xochitl. I was mesmerized by her connection. HACIENDA EL SANTUARIO DE SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
I visited the hotel to have an ancestral brunch. I was provided with a culturally infused tour by a lugareña named Giuliana. She provided us with ancestral stories about the history of this sanctuario. One of the stories which captivated me was the indigenous community adding their cultural signature to the religious crosses. According to the story, the indigenous community embraced the religious crosses by adding an ancestral blueprint to them. What makes this hotel so special is the interior gallery showcasing the culture of San Miguel de Allende.
